Rolled-up Stool

Challenged to design a small stool within the dimension less than 12’’x12’’x12’’. Rolled-up Stool is inspired by the rolled up foam sheets from daily encounters. Instead of using the longer side as the force receiving surface, this stool supports user via its cut side, changing the material character under force dramatically. The stool is incredibly easy to assemble with two ratchet straps securing one rolled up CNC cut foam piece.
